About

Claude C. Bismuth, MBA, FCPA

Chartered Accountant, Senior Business Advisor, and Independent Consultant. A career defined by integrity, deep expertise, and trusted counsel at the highest levels of Canadian and international business.

Our History

An Independent Firm Born of Big 4 Mastery

Bismuth Consulting began operations in January 2008, shortly after Claude C. Bismuth retired from Ernst & Young following a 37-year career, 30 of which were spent as an audit and business advisory partner in the firm's Montreal office.

The firm was founded on a single conviction: that the most valuable advisory is delivered by a seasoned principal who brings complete independence, no conflicts of interest, and senior-level personal engagement to every mandate.

From the first day, our focus has been to serve as experienced business advisors to businesses and their senior management teams — assisting in strategy development and implementation, and working alongside leaders facing difficult crossroads and complex challenges.

As a senior consultant, Mr. Bismuth has also assisted Federal and Quebec governments in assessing their respective investing policies aimed at helping Canadian and Quebec companies grow and become more competitive.

I wanted to underline your positive role in our reaching a very favourable decision on behalf of Tarkett. We appreciated your involvement in developing our strategy, identifying our stronger and weaker points, and your assistance in the preparation of our briefs and the analysis of Canadian and U.S. GAAP considerations and their impact on the amounts in dispute.
