Case Study — Grantec Inc. vs. Domtar Inc. | Quebec Superior Court

Acting as expert for the Defence, Mr. Bismuth presented a rigorously substantiated evaluation of damages — assessed between $2.69M and $8.6M across various scenarios — countering the Plaintiff's initial claim of $15.9M–$16.9M. The Court chose to rely on what it described as "the more pragmatic approach" as submitted by the Defence's expert.
